Sutton Fly Tippers Go Free - Just Don't Park Your Car on the Kerb! |

In the London Borough of Sutton there is a road that has had a problem with fly tippers for as long as I can remember. Sutton council are unable to deal with this problem because they say the fly tipping is on private land. If you look at the picture you will see that the waste is spilling on to the pavement. I would have thought that the council would have some form of 'duty of care' towards the public. If it was a car the parking attendants would be straight there to issue a fine. |

Sutton council seem to be unable to deal with this fly tipping problem which appears to happen over night. That's a shame because the council seem to have no problem at all in sending teams of parking attendants out in the middle of the night to search quiet back streets to find any cars with an inch of tyre on the kerb so they can issue penalty fines. Well at least Sutton Council have got their priorities right. |
